My man Obata!!

I just finished reading this one shot story titled Urooboe Uroboros, and i clearly understand why it was not serialized (well, i didn’t really like the story coz’ it so confusing and i can’t see where it would lead to.. “just my opinion ‘kay”).

I was just interested to read this because of Obata Takeshi (the one who illustrated Death note and Bakuman). I observed that there is not much variations in his drawings. I like his awesome illustrations and every time i see his drawings i really asked “God, why can’t i draw as good as him?”.

This is the only picture of him that i can find in web.. they say he doesn't really want to be known..

Here are some of my observations in all of his illustration in different mangas:

Kakizaki in Urooboe looks like L in Death Note

maybe because their eyes and hair are the same.. and they are both silent type of person. >.<

Takagi in Bakuman also looks the same as Light in Death NoteThey both have that cool hairstyle i like in guys.. and they are both intelligent (one thing i also like in guys *wink*) >.<

Some resemblance?!You can say this is too much but i really think that they look the same.. their eyes are the same.. and they both have that spiky hairstyle and when Hattori stands up he poses exactly like Ryuk >.<

can you tell who he looks like?!

This is funny but do you agree that this guy is a bit like Rem?! hehe.. i find it kinda wierd.. coz’ i imagined someone with bandages and looks like a death god walks around in campus.. But i really like Koyama he’s a fun guy with all his weirdness.. >.<

AND in my observation i can tell that obata must really like drawingblonde girls like misa who looks like the older sibling in Urooboe and the girl in Hello Baby. Those girls are totally hot and have a nice fashion.

Two Thumbs up to Obata Takeshi!!
